VirtualBox에서 Direct3D 활성화 시키기

VirtualBox를 실행시키고 나서 Windows 를 재시작해서 Booting 할 때 F8 키를 눌러서 안전모드로 들어온다.

VirtualBox의 Devices 메뉴에서 Insert Guest Additions CD image... 메뉴를 클릭한 다음, Windows 탐색기에서 CD image가 있는 드라이브로 가서 VBoxWindowsAdditions 를 실행시킨다.

이렇게 해도 talklish 프로그램은 VirtualBox 안에서 실행되지 않았다.

BOOTCAMP로 부팅해야지 정상적으로 실행된다.

그런데 VirtualBox의 Guest Additions를 설치하면 VirtualBox 안에서 Booting할 때는 정상 속도로 Booting 되지만, BOOTCAMP로 부팅할 때는 매우 느려진다. (너무 오랫동안 Booting이 안되서 Down된지 알았다.)

Parallels 나 VMWare 같은 상용 프로그램과는 비교되는, Free Software의 한계인 것인지...

어쨌든 그래서 나는 VirtualBox의 Guest Additions를 Uninstall 했다.

( Guest Additions를 설치할 때 Direct 3D Support 기능을 설치하지 않아도 BOOTCAMP 로 Booting 할 때 매우 느려진다. )
